<div class="preheader eoa_l3r" style="display:none !important;">This is my awesome pre-header. It makes the preview of my emails look awesome so matter what I say... or don't say at the beginning of my emails. It gives a more powerful preview of my emails, so subscribers are more likely to open my emails. The cool thing is it doesn't show up in my actual email. It just shows up in the preview. I combine it with the subject line to give a powerful reason why and relevance to what's going on in their head.... I keep it short and sweet.... (8 to 12 words)... not long and drawn out like this explanation... (I just need to make sure I keep it between these two div tags...</div>

    I use aweber.
Is there some way this template can be loaded to it? (They do have a template section.)

Or do I have to use the txt editor and paste it in that way for every new email?

      hey Jason.

you would need to contact support, but I think it is possible.

however, I am doing a webinar on the template Monday.

plus, I’ll be going live with Aweber.

Hey I was trying to use your advanced formatting on a new icontact broadcast — but in testing the message to some of my diff email addys — the image wasn’t showing the “alt” text that I put in there — any ideas whatsusp?

what email providers didn’t show the alt text? post your code here.

i wouldn’t be too worried about it. as long its there correctly and showing in the inboxes that support it.

but would like to investigate more.

no idea. i’ll let you know. they’re good to know as is.

adequacy is the enemy of excellence, so i’m sure i’ll be updating them in the future based on my continual testing.

Jason, when I load the advanced html into office auto pilot and send myself a test email, it looks great on my computer, but on my iphone the font is pretty small (formatting is great).

    How do I update that?

If you’re using OAP, they have TWO areas for code. don’t copy and paste the entire template into the content area.

And OAP doesn’t give you access to the body tag, so don’t copy that part.

I use Skitch from Evernote (Mac) and then Adobe Fireworks. But any screen capture and editing with your graphics program will work fine. I also have a transparent video play button I can share if anybunny would find that useful to have.

Sometimes (based on the player), there is no play button when clicking pause.
